The Joy to Please You<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In 2022, Moli\u00e8re turns 400. To mark this anniversary, a theater troupe is appropriating and updating one of Moli\u00e8re’s most memorable inventions: Tartuffe, a protean, greedy, pleasure-seeking swindler.<\/p>\n

Starting with one scene, the actors question the comedy of the famous play, its universality and its relativity. Through improvisation, reflection and confrontation, a new creation takes shape. As the premiere approaches, the actors prepare backstage to deliver their work to the public eye.<\/p>\n
