The joy to please you
In 2022, Molière turns 400. To mark this anniversary, a theater troupe is appropriating and updating one of Molière’s most memorable inventions: Tartuffe, a protean, greedy, pleasure-seeking swindler.
Starting with one scene, the actors question the comedy of the famous play, its universality and its relativity. Through improvisation, reflection and confrontation, a new creation takes shape. As the premiere approaches, the actors prepare backstage to deliver their work to the public eye.
Project produced as part of the “De la scène à l’écran” program broadcast on RTS.
